The Healthy Mom and Baby Clinic is indispensable for good care for pregnant women and newborns in the slums of Jeffrey’s Bay. For example, they perform checks on pregnant women and children, perform pregnancy ultrasounds and test for HIV/AIDS, for example. To do this properly, a continuous power supply is required.
South Africa only has problems with the electricity supply. As a result, the power often goes off, interrupting the clinic’s activities. To solve this problem, we want to have solar panels installed. Due to the many hours of sunshine in South Africa, the clinic will have continuous power supply. This allows the much-needed care to be provided continuously! Help us raise the necessary amount for this project! In addition, we will use the amount raised for air conditioning in the waiting area. Because pregnant women sometimes have to wait a long time. And also for the purchase of a refrigerator for the storage of medicines. Help us help!
The current project is in collaboration with the Wilde Ganzen Foundation.
